The German Embassy in Islamabad has introduced a new process for applying for student visas, effective 20 January 2025. At the same time, they are experiencing technical delays because many people are submitting incomplete applications.

🔁 Old System (Before 20 Jan 2025):

• Applicants registered for appointments using the old system.
• They had to check the required document list manually on the website.
• All documents were brought physically to the embassy on the day of the appointment.

✅ New System (After 20 Jan 2025):

• Now, all registrations must go through the Federal Foreign Office’s Consular Services Portal.
• The portal uses a step-by-step questionnaire to generate a personalized document list.
• Applicants must upload digital scans of documents online.
• The embassy team will pre-checkthe uploads before approving an appointment.
• Only complete applications will be placed on the waiting list.
• The system will guide how to organize and present documents at the final appointment.
